Female hooded merganser, Charles River Peninsula, Needham
I ventured out into the snowy fields of the Charles River Peninsula this morning. My car just barely made it back up the hill.
The mallards, as usual, are assembled below the bridge. (There's a hoodie in the background if you look carefully).
And today, another unexpected suet feeder--Carolina wren. (C'mon chickadees and downies. It'll be gone soon!)
