Phoebe

Eastern Phoebe, Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary, Natick, MA

The boardwalk at Broadmoor is a pretty reliable spot for phoebes. This morning at dawn, the phoebe above was welcoming the sun with its beautiful charming song. Another phoebe appeared and there was some chasing.

I also checked out the small (three nest) heronry on Rt 16 (just south of Broadmoor). Still in use.
